锰砂介绍
我国有丰富的地下水资源，其中有不少地下水源含有过量的铁和锰，称为含铁含锰地下水。水中含铁量较高时，水有铁腥味，影响水的口味，作为造纸、纺织、印染、化工和皮革精致等生产用水，会降低产品质量；含铁水可使家庭用具如瓷盆和浴缸发生锈斑，洗涤衣物会出现黄色或棕黄色斑渍；铁质沉淀物Fe2O3会滋长铁细菌，阻塞管道，有时会出现红水。而含锰量较高的水所发生的问题与含铁量高的情况相类似，例如：使水有色、嗅、味，损害纺织、造纸、酿造、食品等工业产品的质量，家用器具会污染成棕色或黑色，洗涤衣物会有微黑色或浅灰色斑渍。
锰砂滤料产品性能
1.锰砂滤料的水浸出液不含对人体有毒、有害物质。
2.盐酸可溶率不应大于3.5%（百分率按质量计，下同）。
3.产品的破碎率和磨损率之和不应大于3%。
4.锰砂滤料应不含肉眼可见泥土、页岩和外来碎屑，含泥量不应大于2.5%。
5.锰砂的平均密度一般为3.2g/cm3至3.6g/cm3范围内。使用中对密度有特殊要求者除外。
锰砂外观粗糙、呈褐色，具有良好的除锰除铁功能，是给水排水行业最理想的产品。天然锰砂中含有 MnO2，它是 Fe2+ 氧化成 Fe3+ 的良好催化剂，含锰量(以 MnO2 计，下同)不小于 35% 的锰砂，既可用于地下水除铁，又可用于地下水除锰;含锰量为 20% ~ 30% 的天然锰砂滤料，只宜用于地下水除铁，含锰量低于 20% 的则不宜采用。天然锰矿砂是一种很强的氧化剂，能对水中股价铁起氧化作用。

用于地下水除铁和除锰的天然锰砂滤料，其锰的形态应以氧化锰为主。含锰量（以MnO2计）不应小于35%的天然锰砂滤料，既可用于地下水除铁，又可用于地下水除锰；含锰量为20%～30%的天然锰砂滤料，只宜用于地下水除铁；含锰量小于20%的锰矿砂则不宜采用。宜优先采用经过科学试验或生产使用证明能获得良好除铁和除锰效果的天然锰砂品种作滤料。
产品用途
