2.天然锰砂滤料的盐酸可溶率不应大于3.5%（百分率按质量计，下同）。
3.天然锰砂滤料的破碎率和磨损率之和不应大于3%。
4.天然锰砂滤料应不含肉眼可见泥土、页岩和外来碎屑，含泥量不应大于2.5%。
5.滤料的水浸出液应不含对人体有毒、有害物质。

产品用途

天然锰砂是一种很强的氧化剂，能对水中股价铁起氧化作用。对使用天然二氧化锰砂除铁，其原理有二种：一种是以所谓活性滤膜的作用，锰砂表面有一层较强的氧化作用。另一种是锰砂本身反铁催化作用。将水中的二价铁催化成三价铁，再把三价铁千周附着在锰砂颗粒表面从而起到除铁的目的。天然二氧化锰能氧化水中二价铁为三价铁使其沉淀除去，使水清净，二氧化锰被水中的溶解氧氧化成七价锰的氧化物。七价锰再将水中的二价铁氧化成三价铁。
