精制无烟煤滤料采用山西优质无烟煤为原料，经精选、破碎、和两次筛分而成，机械强度高，抗压性能好，化学性能稳定，不含有毒物质，耐磨损，在酸性、中性、碱性水中均不溶解，另外无烟煤颗粒表面粗糙，有良好的吸附能力，孔隙率大(＞50%)，有较高的含污能力，因质轻，所需反冲洗强度较低，可节省大量反冲洗水量及电能。
无烟煤滤料同石英砂滤料配合使用是我国目前推广的双层快速滤池和三层滤池、滤罐过滤的最佳材料。是提高滤速增加单位面积出水量和成倍提高截污能力，降低工程造价和减少占地面积最有效的途径。广泛用于化工、冶金、热电、制药、造纸、印染、食品等生产前后的水质处理过程中。

产品用途
无烟煤滤料适用于一般的酸、中、碱性水的净化处理，是双层、三层滤池中不可缺少的净水材料，各项技术指标均达到和超过建设部（CJ/T44-1999）标准。过滤原理：水中之微细悬浮固粒经加药絮凝后，由无烟煤滤材加以滤除。
无烟煤滤料在用于生括给水及工业给水的过滤净化处理，使用时根据滤池的形式确定使用参数，一般双层滤科的铺装厚度为300—400mm；正常滤速10—14m／h，强制滤速14—1 8m／h；三层滤料铺装厚度450mm，正常滤速18—20m／h，强制滤速20～25m／h。滤池反洗采用水冲洗、水汽冲洗或辅以表面冲洗。
