
【锰砂滤料简介】
锰砂滤料是采用国内质量优良、晶粒致密、机械强度大、化学活性强、不易破碎、不溶于水的天然锰矿砂。经水洗打磨除杂、干燥、磁选、筛分、除尘等工艺成砂,再把加工好的锰砂按一定的级配调合而成。它具有水处理滤料最理想的级配比例,使它在单位体积内有最大的比表面积、最强的截污能力、最大的氧化催化作用和最小的反冲洗流失率。锰砂滤料外观粗糙呈褐色或淡灰色,常用于生活饮用水的除铁、除锰过滤装置,滤水效果非常良好。(注:MnO2≥35% 既可除铁,又能除锰,MnO2≤30%)只能用于地下水除铁)锰砂滤料主要用于降低水中的铁和锰总含量,根据我国生活饮用水卫生标准规其铁含量≤0.3㎎/L,锰含量≤0.1㎎/L,长时间饮用含铁含锰量过高的水会严重影响身体健康。

【锰砂滤料工作原理】
铁以Fe2+的状态曾于地下(井)水中,其水有异色异味,污染离子交换树脂而降低交换能力,长时间后生成铁垢,影响传热,能腐蚀设备。而锰砂中的MnO2与Fe2+发生氧化还原反应,使Fe2+变为Fe3+并生成 Fe(OH)3沉淀,从而利用锰砂过滤器的反冲洗功能达到去除净化的目的。
用于地下水除铁和除锰的天然锰砂滤料,其锰的形态应以氧化锰为主。含锰量(以MnO2计,下同)不应小于35%的天然锰砂滤料,既可用于地下水除铁,又可用于地下水除锰;含锰量为20%~30%的天然锰砂滤料,只宜用于地下水除铁;含锰量小于20%的锰矿砂则不宜采用。
【锰砂滤料用途】
天然锰砂除铁是一种接触催化除铁工艺,适合于地下水含铁量小于20mg/L的除铁。天然锰砂中含的高价锰能将水中的二价铁氧化成三价铁,同时在表面形成有催化作用的“活性滤膜”,进一步提高了除铁效果。含铁水经曝气后,只经天然锰砂一次过滤,就能完成全部除铁过程。
【锰砂含量的选用】
在除铁锰滤池中运行时,水中低价铁锰离子先被覆合锰砂滤膜吸附,然后被氧化和水解,生成氢氧化物水合分子[Fe(OH)3XH2O] 和[Mn(OH)nXH2O] 形成的活性滤膜,并作为新的催化剂参与接触氧化反应,使活性滤膜有随着使用增厚的趋势,形成了覆合锰砂的自修复特性,使用一年的覆合锰砂,锰含量增加18.2%,铁含量增加4.8%;使用两年半的锰含量增加了27.3%,铁含量增加14.3%.锰砂容重较低(为1.55~1.60g/cm3),特别适用于大中型水厂的虹吸除铁锰滤池和各型除铁锰滤罐虹吸滤池由于反冲洗水头较低,往往不宜于使用容重较大的天然锰砂滤料(其容重一般为2.2~2.4g/cm3),使大中型水厂除铁锰滤池的设计使用受到一定限制。
【锰砂滤料使用注意事项】
天然锰砂池的反冲洗时间一般为5-15分钟。天然锰砂池料表面的“活性滤膜”结构比较硫松,能在长时间的冲洗中破坏, 所以滤池的反冲洗应以不破坏滤料表面的“活性论膜”为度。 否期会引起滤后水质严重恶化,在地下水除铁滤池中,应采用不易为铁质堵塞的配水系统形式,推荐采用上设承托层的管式大阻力配水系统和格栩式或孔板式小阻力配水系统。
