果壳活性炭在印染行业的应用
果壳活性炭对染料具有选择性,其脱色性能顺序依次为碱性染料、直接染料、酸性染料和硫化染料。
[1]通常果壳活性炭由含炭为主的物质经高温炭化和活化而成,果壳活性炭微孔多、大中孔不足、亲水性强,限制了大分子及疏水性染料的内扩散,适用于分子量不超过400的水溶性染料分子脱色,对大分子或疏水性染料的脱色效果较差;
[2]采用果壳活性炭可以有效去除废水中的活性染料、碱性染料、偶氮染料。在一定条件下,果壳活性炭还可直接吸附某些重金属离子。另外,果壳活性炭吸附水溶性染料时,吸附率高,但不能吸附悬浮固体(SS)及不溶性染料。果壳活性炭虽然吸附性能优良,但由于再生困难,成本高,一般应用于浓度较低的染料废水处理或深度处理。
果壳活性炭在水处理行业的应用
果壳活性炭被广泛应用于生活用水及食品工业、化工、电力等工业用水的净化、脱氯、除油和去臭等。一般在除盐水处理过程中,于阳离子交换器的前面(少数的也有设在后面的)设置活性炭过滤器,由于果壳活性炭的比表面积很大,其表面又布满了平均直径办20—30埃的微孔,因此,果壳活性炭具有很高的吸附能力。此外,果壳活性炭的表面有大量的羟基和羧基等官能团,可以对各种性质的有机物质进行化学吸附、以及静电引力作用,果壳活性炭还能去除水中对于阴离子交换剂有害的腐殖酸、富维酸、本质磺醉等有机物质,以及去除像余氯一类对阳离子交换剂有害的物质,从而提高了除盐水处理能力。通常,能够去除63%~86%胶体物质、50%左右的铁、以及47%~60%的有机物质。
